The Chandigarh University (CU), Mohali and the Institute for Development and Communication (IDC), Chandigarh, have fostered an academic alliance to facilitate innovation, knowledge dissemination and excellence in academic and policy formulation without impinging the autonomy of the participating institutions. To achieve this joint objective, a Centre for Advanced Studies in Social Science and Management (CASSM) has been launched for the generation and dissemination of knowledge in the region and beyond.
