The Institute for Development and Communication (IDC) invites applications from eligible candidates for Ph.D. in Social Sciences for the academic session 2025-2026 in the disciplines of Economics, Sociology, Political Science, Defence and Strategic Studies, and Women Studies. The applicant should have passed Master’s examination in the relevant subject with 55% (50% for SC/ST/BC category/Differently-abled) from a UGC recognised university and those who have qualified Ph.D. Entrance Test conducted by Panjab University/UGC NET/JRF/GATE/or Equivalent are eligible to apply.

The candidates are also suggested to submit a brief overview on the tentative area of research interest not exceeding 500 words.
